The International City/County Management Association (ICMA) aims to aide local governance by “developing and fostering professional management to build sustainable communities”.
In partnership with a number of federal agencies and other organizations, ICMA has developed a multitude of resources designed to help communities become more resilient. Walsh discusses key concepts and sustainable adaptation techniques, provides an adaptation checklist, several case studies, and provides the latest resources to help local organizations update their existing plans and programs.
