Mappers, Tools, Projections, & Data
Many tools and projections exist to help throughout the planning process for coastal hazards. CHRN has gathered many of the most relevant ones here.
Funding Opportunities
CHRN partners with Oregon State University and the Cascadia CoPes Hub to post current funding opportunities related to coastal resilience at the beginning of every month.
Capacity Building
Across Washington shorelines, coastal hazards can quickly outpace a communities’ capacity to manage it in house. CHRN aims to provide information and connections to programs throughout Washington, the Pacific Northwest, and the Nation that can increase the ability of a community to adapt. Connecting to an Expert
The CHRN Membership includes over 100 members and 290 listserv subscribers who are coastal hazards and climate resiliency practitioners from federal, local, and state government agencies, Tribes, academic insitutions, consulting firms, and nonprofit organizations. Members are working together toward a common mission, and the CHRN is a mechanism to support the group’s collective capacity in providing the information, hands-on assistance, and leveraged resources needed to support community action.
