NOAA Coastal Resilience Fellow, Washington Department of Ecology
Nadia is a NOAA Coastal Resilience Fellow at the Washington Department of Ecology. Her area of focus is supporting community engagement efforts for Washington's Coastal Zone Management Program. As part of this role, she works with Tribes and coastal communities to develop participatory engagement strategies, assist with HEAL Act compliance, strategize coastal resilience opportunities, and facilitate community-based workshops.
Prior to this position, she was a student organizer working towards Indigenous community building and BIPOC outdoor access in Vermont. Nadia holds a B.A. in Conservation Biology and Portuguese from Middlebury College.
