Strengthening the resilience of Washington’s coastal communities through collaboration, education, and knowledge exchange

Dr. Amber Khan is a postdoctoral disaster scholar at the Center for Disaster Resilient Communities at the University of Washington.  Her interdisciplinary research explores both community-led and policy solutions to the intersecting climate and housing crises, and their compounding impacts on displacement and gentrification among low-income and unhoused communities.
