Levkowitz, Michael
Michael Levkowitz currently works for Hagerty Consulting, where he supports efforts to incorporate mitigation and resilience into preparedness programs for clients across the United States. He is a skilled facilitator with experience building partnerships and fostering collaboration amongst diverse stakeholders across different levels of governance to build stronger and more resilient communities. Prior to joining Hagerty, Michael previously worked as the Washington State Mitigation Strategist with WA Emergency Management Division. He previously supported FEMA’s Risk Mapping, Analysis, and Planning (Risk MAP) program as a member of their Community Engagement and Risk Communication (CERC) team. Michael has a background in coastal resilience dating back to his time as a Hershman Marine Policy Fellow and Assistant Coastal Planner with the Washington Department of Ecology. He also has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, where he also earned and Environmental Management Certificate.
