Sheehan, Lindsey
Lindsey is a hydrologist and coastal engineer specializing in sea-level rise planning and the restoration of coastal and estuarine ecosystems. Her work at ESA includes conducting and overseeing numerical modeling, GIS analysis, field data collection, and hydrologic and geomorphic technical analyses in support of shoreline restoration projects and coastal processes assessments. She also has extensive experience developing coastal hazard vulnerability assessments and working with communitites to develop adaptation plans. Lindsey excels in communicating complex technical analyses and results in a way that everyone can understand and uses this skill to facilitate productive public and stakeholder engagement.
Lindsey earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering at MIT and her Master’s in Fluid Mechanics and Hydrology at Stanford.
