Snow, Hannah

Civil Engineer, Environmental Science Associates

Hannah is a coastal engineer with a focus on restoration design development in coastal and estuarine environments on the West Coast. Her project portfolio includes tidal wetland, beach, and river restoration projects, sea-level rise and flooding vulnerability studies, and shoreline protection design. Hannah’s responsibilities at ESA include collecting field data, performing geomorphic analysis, developing engineering design documents, and modeling aquatic environments. Her modeling skillset consists of wind wave, tidal hydrodynamic, sediment transport, shoreline morphology and water balance modeling. Hannah works with a diverse team of nearshore ecologists, coastal scientists, landscape architects, and marine policy experts at ESA to achieve successful project outcomes using her extensive knowledge of nearshore physical processes and their application to restoration design.

Hannah earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a Master’s Degree from Stanford in Environmental Fluid Mechanics. Hannah is a registered professional civil engineer in the state of Washington.
