Coastal Resilience Specialist for Tellus Civic Science supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office for Coastal Management (OCM)

Currently, Aubrey works as a Coastal Resilience Specialist for Tellus Civic Science supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office for Coastal Management (OCM). Her primary duties are providing technical assistance to the two Climate Resilience Regional Challenge projects here in Washington, one led by the Coastal Zone Management Program at the Department of Ecology and the other led by King County. Providing technical assistance means she is here to support these large scale projects through a variety of mechanisms, from meeting organization, to data analysis, to outreach support, to training. Aubrey holds a bachelor's degree in environmental sciences from Emory University and a master's degree in marine, estuarine, and environmental sciences from the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science. Her professional background spans conservation, fisheries science, urban ecology research, environmental education, environmental policy, and climate resilience.
