Strengthening the resilience of Washington’s coastal communities through collaboration, education, and knowledge exchange

Wamboldt started as a Hazard Mitigation Grant Coordinator with WA Emergency Management Division in 2022 and currently works as the Grant Application Specialist. She enjoys the opportunity to assist sub-applicants in putting their best foot forward towards a successful FEMA grant application.

As the Emergency Programs Manager at Pacific Lutheran University, she prepared a Hazard Mitigation Plan Annex and was also successful in applying for and winning about $3.5 million in grants, including Mitigation awards. She has also volunteered as a FEMA reviewer for grant applications submitted under the FEMA Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program.
