Kayla Wells-Yoakum is an Associate Professor with WSU Extension.  She has her Master’s in Teaching from Washington State University (WSU) and her areas of expertise are outreach education and community engagement.  Kayla is one of the WSU Extension representatives on COHORT, the Coastal Hazards Organizational Resilience Team.  She is the County Director of the WSU Okanogan County Extension Office and has worked on various projects since joining WSU Extension in 2011.  Some of the project areas that Kayla has worked on or is currently working on are: COHORT, Broadband and Digital Equity, Workforce Development, Consumer Food Safety and Personal Financial Education.  Kayla is currently studying to earn her Accredited Financial Counselor® (AFC®) certificate through the Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education (AFCPE).
