Templeton, Will
Will Templeton is a Coastal Engineer with Coastal Geologic Services in Bellingham, WA. Will’s expertise includes numerical and statistical modeling of coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics, wind-generated waves, and sediment transport and morphology. Will has worked on numerous projects around Puget Sound, the outer coast, the Lower Columbia River, and projects around the country, including development of centennial-scale statistical water level and salmon habitat models of the Lower Columbia River Estuary, system-wide numerical salinity and sediment transport models of the Lower Columbia River Estuary, and wind-wave and shoreline erosion models of select locations around Bellingham Bay.
Will earned a Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master’s degree from the University of Hawai’i in Ocean and Resources Engineering. Will is a registered professional engineer in the state of Oregon (and soon to be in Washington!).
